Description

The single drum landroller was specially designed for specialty crop producers who find our standard rollers too large for their farming operation. The single drum roller weighs approximately 7,840lbs and measures 20' in working position. With hydraulic fold capabilities, it easily transforms to a narrow 8' transport width, making this machine safe and simple to transport. It's 36" diameter drum incorporates the same heavy duty features as our Tri Plex rollers such as heavy duty cylinders, oversized shafts and long life bearings.

Flat Fields. Maximum Yields.
From flattening corn stalks to embedding rocks, Degelman Landrollers are the ideal piece of equipment for achieving flat fields and maximum yields.
Emerging Science Rolling with Degelman
Whether rolling a freshly drilled or well established crop the benefits are immense. Rolling consolidates the soil around the young seed which helps make moisture and nutrients more available to the young plant. Degelman Landrollers push down rocks, breakdown residue and level the ground for harvest, and subsequently reduce grain and yield losses. Rolling makes combining beans faster and easier, and there is less chance of picking up rocks or corn root clumps which can damage guards, sickle sections or expensive internal combine parts.
Smooth Transport
The ease of transforming this roller from working width to a transport width of 8 feet (without operators needing to leave the tractor cab) makes it the safest in transport of any landroller available.
Simple and Safe.
Degelman pioneered the swept back trailing wing auto-fold concept, keeping it safe and easy to use. The least experienced operator on the farm can roll with confidence, positioning the machine from transport to field ready from the tractor seat.

Features

  • 36" vs. 42" Drum Size: Available in sizes from 20 to 80 feet, a Degelman roller provides combine protection by flattening the fields and pounding the stones in, making it possible to harvest peas, lentils, and beans quickly and efficiently. The 36” drum provides excellent packing pressure and smooth operating. We also offer our LRX series of Landrollers. A big, heavy, 42” rolling drum on 3” sealed bearings, hydraulic power-fold, and oversized pins with composite bushings, this makes the LRX series of landrollers completely greaseless and maintenance free. A smaller diameter 36" drum, since it has less surface area, will provide more downward packing pressure per foot. In areas that are traditionally more minimum till to no-till, this extra packing pressure will handle stones and level the field more consistently.  For areas that are more aggressively tilled, and hayland, a 42" has less packing pressure per foot, but makes up for it with a heavier drum and frame.
