Apex Sunsetting
We received word from John Deere that effective June 1, 2023, all support for Apex will end. This includes transfers, activations, support, and self-serve functions. For example, in the event a computer crashes, there will be no option to transfer the activation. Apex will work as-is after June 1, 2023, unless there are changes outside of Deere’s control.
StellarSupport™ will also be removing the Apex product tile on June 1, 2023.
You will still be able to process Apex backup files into John Deere Operations Center™ via the existing API after Apex support ends.
The ability to download background aerial images will come to end of life on June 1, 2024.
There are two steps you’ll need to take during this transition:
• Back up data to Operations Center
• Transition to Operations Center by setting up your organization
With the Operations Center your data is available to you on the web or in the app anywhere you have an internet connection. The Operations Center is constantly being updated automatically. With the Ops Center you will also receive better data analytics of your operation.
